Sharing the news: When I found out I was pregnant I told my husband right away but we waited to tell family and friends until we were further along. It was a hard secret to keep.
Pregnancy moments: My pregnancy felt extremely long even though it was short. I had symptoms and complication from the very beginning. I really wanted to enjoy being pregnant and be r cited for each trimester but that just wasn’t the case. I remember telling myself that he will be worth all this and more! We did take an amazing trip to Disney World during my pregnancy and while I didn’t feel well, it was an amazing experience being there pregnant and getting excited to bring my baby here.Pregnancy cravings: I actually didn’t have any cravings. I was too nauseous all the time. My husband was so looking forward to me craving things and he was hoping it would be things he like so he asked me constantly and didn’t understand why I wasn’t craving anything.
Meeting Alexander: We had a C-section and I was 36 weeks so as soon as he came out they took him to be checked and I had some bleeding complications. They brought him over to me for a few seconds before taking him to the NICU and I had such a sense of relief to see him and that he was breathing and everything was going to be okay. He was the sweetest little baby.
What was the first thing that you noticed about your baby?First thing we noticed about Alexander: The thing I noticed first is it looks like the poor little baby is going to have my thick, curly hair lol
Favorite features: Our favorite features are that he has the cutest little nose and the prettiest eyes and long eye lashes.
Favorite moments: The moments I love the most are all the amazing g snuggles I get and when he holds on tight to my fingers or my shirt and doesn’t want to let go.
Adorable things he does: Our baby loves going for rides in the car, scrunching his nose at you and raising one eyebrow- which daddy is very upset he is still the only one who cannot do this. He also has two big sisters that are Great Danes and he loves being by them, it makes him smile!
