This new family reached out to me after their little guy had already arrived to inquire about a newborn photography session. I am so glad I was able to squeeze them in because at just 20 days old this guy had quite the personality; he was so much fun to photograph! After allowing me to capture some sleepy shots, this guy woke up and was alert; he DID NOT want to miss a thing. It was so fun watching his cute expressions and big display of personality (a tiny bit of a stubborn streak for sure, ha ha)! I was able capture such a variety of newborn images: sleepy, awake, smirking, yawning, funny faces, and everything in between. He even ended up being a little bit of a viral sensation over on my instagram with his silly antics!
Benjamin’s story:
Sharing the news of Benjamin’s arrival: We had a special way of telling each family and close friends and recorded their reaction 
Pregnancy memories: Feeling him move for the first time and the many many times he got hiccups. And still does.
Pregnancy cravings: Apples. Fresh McIntosh apples.
Naming Benjamin: Benjamin has always been a name we both loved but his middle name Daniel was in honor of my brother who passed away.
First moment meeting him: His eyes were wide open looking at us. I couldn’t believe he was ours.
First thing we noticed: His beautiful blue eyes and how aware he seemed.
Favorite features: Eyes and CHEEKS!
Moments we will cherish: Him falling asleep in our arms just full of trust. For me personally (dad) it’s when he looked at me for the first time. No crying just wide eyed looking straight into my eyes. Just beautiful.
Cute things he does: It’s weird he puts his legs straight out when he is being fed. Straight out like a recliner. Also he loves to pee on just his dad.
