For Lena’s newborn photo session our main focus was to capture newborn family images, including her with her mom, dad, and big brother. We spent the majority of the session working with them together as a family. After that we had special plans just for her. We posed her in a bed of soft pink and cream flowers, and it the results are absolutely dreamy!
Lena’s Story…
Sharing the news of Lena’s arrival: We shared a video of B saying “It’s a girl” to reveal Lena’s gender.
Pregnancy moments: B and I worked from home together throughout my pregnancy which kept me on my toes! He gave lots of hugs and kisses to baby Lena in my belly all the time. We went on a walk everyday at lunch time to stay active all the way up until Lena arrived.
Pregnancy cravings: Lots and lots of British food; chocolate, prawn cocktail crisps, ribena, banana milk.
Does your baby’s name have a special meaning? Any particular
inspiration or stories relating to how you decided?
Naming Lena: Her name is vey special she is named after my Nanny, Lena Josephine and Larry’s grandma, Carolyn Jean.
First moments: It seemed like an eternity waiting for the nurses to bring Lena back to me. When I met her it was love at first sight, she is absolutely beautiful.
First thing we noticed: Her full head of dark hair!
Favorite features: Everything about Lena is beautiful! Everything about her is so petite and pretty.
Favorite moments: My favorite moments are cuddling up with Lena and B, he kisses her so sweetly and calls her “baby ena”. I’ll never forget the first time Lena smiled at me when she woke up, it melted my heart. One of Lena’s favorite pastimes is staring at Daddy! When he gets home from work she will stare into his eyes for as long he holds her.
Personality: Lena is such a sweet calm baby, she loves everyone, especially Bear! She enjoys her daily modeling sessions we have to show everyone her outfit of the day.
