Vamika’s Story…
Sharing the news of expecting Vamika: Baby shower and, gender reveal event
Pregnancy Cravings: Veg. Mediterranean food (falafel)
Naming Vamika: We took 1st half of baby’s name from Dad’s name (Dhaval) and 2nd half of baby’s name from mom’s name (Bhumika)i.e. dhaVAl + bhuMIKA = VAMIKA. Vamika is also name of one of our Goddess (Maa Durga) in Hindu culture.
Meeting Vamika: We were in the operation theater and as soon as the baby was pulled out of me, they opened the cover in front of me and let us see the baby through the plastic window, doctors had held the baby and all We could see was baby’s crying face… it was an emotional moment.
First thing we noticed: She had good height and weight and was considered as large baby at the hospital.
Favorite Features: Lovely fluffy checks
Favorite moments: Every moment is special with the baby and the most memorable moment is our 1st eye contact.
Favorite things she does: Smiles a lot in her sleep.
