Robert’s Grandma Trudy, reached out to me in late June to inquire about a newborn photography session to gift her son and daughter in law, who’d welcomed their new baby boy to the world on June 4, 2017. After finding out Robert’s mom and dad hadn’t made plans for a newborn session, grandma said her heart felt shattered knowing that he’d grow so quickly; she wanted to be sure his early newborn days were documented. So, she immediately started her online search for nearby newborn photographers. She noticed my name right away, and was immediately intrigued! Clicking on my website, she felt it was meant to be…a Trudy finding a Trudi! After looking through my collection of baby photos and loving what she saw, she reached right out to schedule a session. She was hoping to plan the session as soon as possible since he was quickly approaching his one month milestone. After a quick schedule check, I was luckily able to squeeze him into the studio the very next day. Even though he was at an advanced age for newborns, at 25 days, he was still a perfect and sleepy little guy. Oh, so cute.

Robert’s Story…
On the news of Robert’s upcoming arrival, “We shared it with our parents first since we have early complications, BUT he turned out a-okay!”
Pregnancy Cravings: “No cravings, and he was a very polite fetus…he never smushed my bladder or kicked my ribs! He was the perfect tenant! :)”
Naming Robert: “Robert was my husband’s dad’s name and is his grandpa’s name too. His middle name, Milo, was my maternal grandfather’s name.”
The moment I first met Robert: “He was so huge! When they put him on my chest and they told me I’d pushed a 9lb 3oz baby, I was shocked! He could already lift his head when they put him on my chest. He is a total hunk!”
The first thing I noticed about Robert: “That he was perfect!”
Favorite Features: “His cute little lips that he tucks in at the bottom…so sweet! He also makes very silly faces. His feet are also really big and he toes really catch on things. They crack me up.”
Favorite Moments/Memories: “We cuddle lots and lots. Memories that I hold close to my heart include seeing him when he first got put on my chest, seeing his dad change his first diaper, and sharing him with our parents.”
Personality Traits: “He makes puppy noises and chirps all the time. He also loves making faces all day.”
