Usually senior photography sessions take place in the summer and fall, as many girls tend to plan their sessions right before heading into their senior year. But occasionally I’ll have one of my girls opt for a spring session, and I absolutely RELISH these because of the varied looks we are able to achieve. Don’t get me wrong, I absolutely love the beauty of late summer and autumn, but it’s a refreshing change of pace to photograph one of my girls in glorious spring blooms!
For Sophie’s senior photos, we planned a variety of backgrounds. We started her session in the city, using intricate doorways and stone steps, so we started in her senior photos in Ann Arbor, and then finished in a beautiful peony garden. The best of both worlds!
