I was so excited to find an email from this special family in my inbox announcing that they were expecting baby number two! I’d had the honor of photographing their first baby girl’s newborn portraits, 6 month pictures, and one year milestone. I was so eager to see her again, (now two), and also get the chance to meet and photograph her new baby brother! Once baby Calvin made his arrival, we eagerly set up his newborn session! Mom, dad, big sister, and grandma, who was visiting from out of state, came along for the session! I was so impressed with big sister and how well she did during the session! She did such an amazing job being patient and listening to all my direction…she made it through family pictures with her baby brother, as well as sibling images! I was able to capture quite a few adorable shots of them together! PSA: Getting just ONE perfectly posed toddler/newborn shot can be like the holy grail for photographers! Calvin was a cute little bundle, and we got some adorable images of him to document the newness of his first few weeks on earth!
