Ahhhh, this family and all their CUTE babies! It was late spring when I got a message from Daphne’s mom announcing that she was expecting baby #3! I was ecstatic to hear they were expecting another baby girl, due in August! I’d photographed each one of their adorable babies when they were newborns, their first baby girl, Lily, in 2012 and baby #2, Jack’s studio newborn session and outdoor newborn session in 2014. I’d had so much fun with each session with this family, so I couldn’t wait! We planned both a studio and outdoor newborn session for Daphne, and she was a perfectly sleepy little subject for both!

On Daphne’s arrival: “After two babies through IVF, Daphne was a complete surprise to us!”
“While there is no special meaning behind the name Daphne (we just really liked it and thought it complemented our other kids’ names). Daphne’s middle name, Isabel, is a common middle name in the family, from her great-grandmother’s grandmother, and also a great aunt.”
Favorite things: “Daphne doesn’t stop making funny faces!”
Special memories: “I will always remember the delight Daphne’s siblings had when they first met her. I will have to reflect back on that memory with them when they are older and at each others’ throats!”
