Finding out about the pregnancy: Well…I missed my period and took a test!
Sharing the news with your spouse: I told him the day I found out, I was shocked!
Sharing the news with friends and family: I told my parents in person, and after about 12 weeks, I called my close friends on the phone.
Hearing baby’s heartbeat: Shocked! I couldn’t believe there was another heartbeat inside of me.
Baby’s nicknames: Yes, but names and nicknames are a secret.
Boy, girl, surprise?: Girl!
Finding out the baby’s gender: Our doctor gave us an envelope with the gender inside. We opened it together and were ecstatic that it said “baby girl.”
Choosing a name: I had a list of names that I liked and I read them to my husband. When I landed on a particular name, he got excited and said, “that one!”
Pregnancy cravings: Nectarines, bagels, pistachio ice cream
Pregnancy aversions: Chicken, meat
First purchase for the baby? A cute outfit
Favorite pregnancy moments: Hearing the heartbeat, looking at the 3D ultrasounds, maternity photo shoot, hearing congratulations from ppl and having them be happy for me.
Hardest pregnancy moments: It’s hard to move and sleep at night.
