I met Montgomery on a sunny late July morning, her 11th day. Her momma loved my outdoor newborn photos, calling my outdoor baby girls “fairy babies”, so of course I couldn’t wait to make Montie into a little garden fairy too!
We planned for an outdoor newborn session in my studio garden, which was in full bloom with flowery looks. We used lots of colorful flowers and greenery, a little bucket in a flower patch, and my shady fern garden too. She made the perfect little garden fairy!

Length: 20inSharing the news of Montie’s arrival: We had sticker labels made of our ultrasound. We stuck them onto wine bottles to make it look like a label and gifted them to our family members. They were all shocked and so excited!
Eventful pregnancy moments: My husband Griffen plays hockey professionally, so my pregnancy was spent in Utah, Colorado, AND Michigan!
Pregnancy cravings: Fruit!!!
The moment we met Montie: Utter shock. It was such a long and difficult process. I couldn’t believe she was finally out. I was so happy to finally meet my first baby!!
Favorite features: Her pouty lips and her squishy cheeks and her adorable little smile!
Adorable things she does: She sneezes when we take her outside in the sun. She loves the bath, total water baby. She loves to be snuggled- by anyone!!!
