Kasey’s Story…
Sharing the news of Kasey’s arrival: “We shared the news that I was pregnant at my son’s 3rd birthday party that included family members. My husband, Steve, took Kyle into the other room and changed his shirt to say “big brother”. It took everyone 10 minutes to figure out what was happening. When I found out that the baby was a girl, I was the only one allowed at the ultrasound. After the appointment, I bought 2 pink balloons and had my son open a large gift bag that contained these balloons.”
Name significance: “Kasey was just a name that my husband and I both liked. We spelled it with a “K” instead of the traditional c because our son’s name starts with a K. Her middle name, Ann, is Kasey’s grandmother’s middle name. If my son had it his way, he would have called her baby Cheeto. (No idea where he got that from) 😂”
First Moment & What We Noticed: “When we first met Kasey, we both noticed how tiny she was and how long and slender her feet were. When Kasey was in the womb, she was constantly kicking me in the side of my stomach so seeing the feet made total sense why that was happening.”
Adorable Things: “We love how she does “duck lips” when she stretches her body out. We also love all the many ways she puts her arms while sleeping.”
