Oliver’s mom reached out to me when Oliver was one week old. Thankfully I had room on my schedule and was able to squeeze him in for his newborn photo session on his 11th day.

Oliver was welcomed home to an excited big brother, so of course we had to get some snuggly brother photos. His big brother was so sweet with him, making for some of my favorite sibling photos!
Oliver’s mom runs a fox rescue, so the plan above all else was that Oliver would be a little fox! My fox bonnet is one of my most popular, and Oliver looked adorable wearing it! We dressed him in a couple other little woodland critter looks too, and finished the session with a color palette of rustic tones. The ultimate woodsy themed newborn session…oh so cute!

Oliver’s story…
Sharing the news of Oliver’s arrival: I actually took a pregnancy test by chance and it happen to be positive! So I rushed downstairs and told Jason who was on a conference call! Lol We just told everyone one by one, no special way. Everyone was very excited and thrilled.
Pregnancy Moments: Nothing too eventful, it was a good pregnancy but I did work the entire time right up until we induced.
Pregnancy Cravings: Anything sweet
Naming Oliver: We wanted a strong name that matched our heritage so we went with Oliver. And the middle name is Richard because both our fathers are named Richard.
The moment we met him: I absolutely fell in love with this tiny human. He was placed on my chest and I knew just like with my first son, that’d I love him forever and do anything in my power for him.
First thing we noticed about Oliver: His hair! My first son had none and Oliver has a full head!
Favorite features: His eyes and little chubby cheeks. And the way he makes the cutest little sounds while he eats like a dove.
Favorite Moments: Favorite moments are just laying down with him after he’s eaten watching his little facial expressions, those moments go by so quickly when they’re young.
Personality Traits: He loves to be held all the time.
